Keegan Taylor

As he grew older, he took to the copybook pages to begin creating his own comic book stories, bringing to life his own characters, creatures, and spaces. In his teenage years, he began exploring music and songwriting, and opted for rhythmic storytelling, creating worlds built within a sonic space.

After creating musical stories for the likes of Machel Montano, Bunji Garlin, Destra, and Superblue to name a few, Keegan took it upon himself to venture into filmmaking and became both the subject and producer of the stick fighting documentary directed and executive produced by Dr.Christopher Laird entitled“No Bois Man No Fraid”. This Docu-drama followed Keegan in his journey as a young stick fighter learning the art of Kalinda (stick fighting) from the Moruga masters themselves as he prepared to compete in the dangerous yet liberating Gayelles of the world of Kalinda.
